I strongly believe in this Mark. Your success also depends on your circle. If they support all your good intentions, it would be easier for us to succeed. Having been here feels that I’m in the right circle.

Thank you Odmaa, I think everyone loves their mom. It’s our time to pay back all the sacrifices and love they showered us all these years.

I always have a smile on my face whenever I write here, Mark. It feels good to express myself with someone who understands and doesn’t judge.

Whatever you can suggest that will improve my knowledge and expertise, I would appreciate receiving that information. I’m still working toward improving my skills, but email management, social media management, admin tasks, customer service, and similar work are the basic skills that I’ve been able to acquire since I first started working as a virtual assistant. Luckily, I found an employer willing to teach me these things and patient enough to guide me along the way. A lot more needs to be learned and improved by me, but I’m at it.

This kind of conversation helped me to be more aware of my goals., and I want to thank you for that.

This is exactly what I need, Mark. There are times when anxiety is eating me. I remember back then when I was having an anxiety attack, I tend to eat more which made me obese. I also remember crying all night, because I was making my ghost.

I don’t want to go back to that situation. I’m really glad I got to read this.

Yes, Mark, I am working hard to support my mom and family. I’m also spending time learning more details, processes and new skills to be fully equipped as a VA since the skills needed will depend on my client’s needs. I want to enhance my skills so that I can keep my job. As of now, Mark, I have a pretty decent workspace and internet connection. I just want to improve it so that I can work comfortably. For now, I’m using our dining chair and I’m wanting to buy an office chair so that my back won’t hurt. Another thing is my monitor—I’d like to have dual monitors so that it will be easier for me to multitask. But I am still thankful for what I have now. I also want to improve my skills and work experience. I want to become successful, so that I never get tired of working. The more opportunities I can get to learn and grow, the better. I want to be surrounded by people with the same mindset as mine—to be successful and earn more. I want to be with those people who are knowledgeable about the industry that I’m working in. They could help me improve and get more clients. I am happy writing this email, Mark. This has inspired me to share something with you that I might be uncomfortable saying out loud. I hope my heart can continue to feel this way.

                Hi Mark,

My superpower is to be very sensitive to other people’s emotions. Growing up, I have been very aware of how my actions may affect those around me. I don’t want to hurt other people or insult them. I want to have happy people around me. What hurts them will also hurt me. Their pain is my pain; their problem is also my problem.

                  Hi Odmaa,

My goal for this year is to help my mother quit her job and stay with us for good so that she can spend more time with us and enjoy retirement. I will also work hard so I can be financially independent and live a better life than last year.

                    Hi Mark,

I’m a freelance, working full-time and part-time jobs. My work is online, commonly known as Virtual Assistant. I have a decent workstation but dream of making it better.

I am still looking for clients and spending time learning, as that is my passion. I hope to share my knowledge with my siblings, so they can have a job like mine.

I agree that it’s important to be open with others so that they can help us. That’s why I’m here because this community allows me to express myself in ways I don’t always feel comfortable doing verbally, and it has helped me learn in many ways. I hope to also inspire other members of the community as well.

What do I need to improve? Opportunities. I will take advantage of all learning opportunities, and I am always praying for God to give me a break. Life is not “just about me”, this is also for my family and all other special people around me.

                      Hi Mark,

I have been through a lot of failed friendships. And as I got older, I realized that not everyone deserves your time and effort. Love those who love you, and make time for those you think would do the same. This is to protect your mental health. I have been through heartbreaks because of trusting the wrong people. Luckily for me, I have found two great people. I am now in the right circle, Mark. And they contributed a lot as I walked through the journey of my success.

                        Hi Odmaa,

I have been there. I once had fake friends and trust issues with the people around me. I was fooled by my friends several times before, but that didn’t keep me from trusting other people. In time, I found a circle of friends who gave me importance. I hope you will find perfect friends too.

                          Hey Mark,

I think making friends as an adult is much different from when I was in high school or college.

I’m no longer surrounded by thousands of other people trying to meet new people and make new connections. And even if I live in a city with millions of residents, it can still be challenging to meet new people and develop strong friendships.

Luckily for me, I have found genuine people. I can say that I am in the right circle. I am blessed, and I’ll do everything to keep these people.

If you aim to succeed in life but focus more on your effort than your environment, you are likely missing one of the significant factors of success.

It’s easy to focus on what we can control — our effort and attitude — and forget about everything else. We believe that if we work hard enough and have a positive attitude, we’ll achieve success. But this isn’t always true.

In fact, many things outside of our control impact our success far more than any amount of effort or positive thinking will ever do. And if we don’t consider them part of our success equation, we’re setting ourselves up for failure before we even get started down this path.

Perfectionism takes away our joy, our creativity, and our willingness to take risks by making us afraid of failure. The fear of failure is often worse than the failure itself because it paralyzes us from even trying anything new or challenging.

If we want to live a life full of passion and purpose, we need to stop letting perfectionism hold us back from doing what we love most in life: pursuing our goals and dreams!

I’m not sure if I have any regrets, but I do have some things I didn’t do when I was younger that I wish I did.

I’ve always wanted to be an actor. When I was growing up, I would pretend to be in movies and TV shows with my friends. It’s something that has always been a dream of mine, but it’s just not something that happened for me. In college, I took acting classes and even auditioned for a few plays at my university, but nothing ever came of it.

I also wish that I had taken more time off from work so that I could travel more and see the world before getting married and having kids (which happened before you knew it).

I’ve always said that if there’s one thing people regret most about their lives, it’s not taking enough time off from work to travel or see the world before settling down with family and working full-time jobs.
