1. Floss.
2. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
3. When in doubt, just take the next step.
4. No matter the dead end, there is always another step forward.
5. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
6. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
7. Pay off your credit cards every month.
8. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
9. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone.
10. Save for retirement, starting with your first paycheck.
11. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.
12. It’s OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Pay yourself first: save 10% of everything you earn.
14. Save 6 months of expenses as an emergency fund.
15. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
16. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn’t be in it.
17. Life is too short for long pity parties. Get busy living, or get busy dying.

87. Develop more character than you need: integrity is not enough to become irresistibly attractive.
88. See how perfect the present really is: especially when it is clearly not.
89. Become unconditionally constructive: high levels of respect are very attractive.
90. Orient exclusively around your values: when you spend your days doing what fulfills you, you are attractive.
91. Simplify everything: abandoning the non-essentials leaves more room for you to attract.

96. Debt of more than 10% of your gross annual salary this is a huge red flag. Quit spending, pay off your debt and start saving.
97. Don’t tolerate people who don’t treat you well. Period. Don’t tolerate them for financial reasons. Don’t tolerate them for emotional reasons. Don’t tolerate them for the children’s sake or for convenience sake. “Surround yourself only with people that make you a better version of yourself, that bring out your best parts, love and accept you.”
98. Be Good to the People You Care About. “Show up with and for your friends. You matter, and your presence matters.
99. Treat belongings as investments – they are. But things that are of the highest quality you can afford, that make you feel good, that last.
100. You can’t do everything; focus on doing a few things really well.

107. Invest in Your friends and family; It’s Worth It. Psychological studies show time and time again that one of the largest factors for there is a “powerful correlation between the warmth of your relationships and your health and happiness in your later years.
108. Have the courage to live a life true to yourself, not the life others expected of you.

110. Find a job and a relationship that supports you in becoming a better person.
111. Do a random act of secret kindness every day.
112. Begin your day by creating something; do NOT start with reactionary items such as returning Emails or calls; reading Email or perusing the news.

114. Use direct deposit and automatically deposit 10% of each paycheck to savings. Live only off of the remaining 90%
115. Invest in your hair: your appearance forms an instant opinion; you’ll have it for the next 4 weeks.
116. Invest in friendships for who you are around them. The truest measure of a friendship is, does it call you to be a better person? Only invest in people whom believe in you, encourage you, and inspire you. (But note that “believe in you” does NOT have to mean “agree with you” or “see things your way.”
117. Everyday have something to look forward to and an identified focus to work on that contributes to a larger purpose
118. Look in the mirror every morning and ask yourself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, know you need to change something.
119. Eat and exercise like you’re a diabetic heart patient with a stroke – so you never actually become one.
