First, a quick welcome to the LifeSuccessEngine.com forums.

Unlike the limited range of printed newspapers or announcements, the one-way “broadcast” nature of radio or TV, social media has brought us the world’s most powerful communication’s tool – for the first time we can literally have a conversation with 100 people, both hearing what each is say AND being heard by each.

…and people are using it as an echo chamber with connections who think exactly like them and to argue with people who others with closed mind; or worse: post funny cat memes, “Goin’ to Starbucks!” or self-centered posts about a vacation or vague drama.

These Forums are here to refocus the conversation:

Our focus here is on self-evolution AND supporting other’s in *their* self-defined success. So… some guidelines:

      1) It’s *SOCIAL* media. By its very nature expect people to pitch in. If you’re posting only to hold yourself publicly accountable state it clearly in your first post: Just posting for myself. Feedback not sought.

      2) Start with a baseline: No advice please; sympathy not sought. If the largest thing you have to offer is advice or sympathy… you’re better off building your *own* life. Give something more profound than advice or sympathy…

      3) UNLESS advice is sought. If you’re looking for advice, state it clearly so people know.

      4) Tag your post, please. Our primary tags here at LSE Forums are:
      – Mind
      – Body
      – Spirit
      – Relationships
      – Wealth
Almost every topic will fall into one of those broad topic area and tagging your post will help others, similarly interested, find it.

      5) DO use the forums to hold yourself accountable. Many a pop-psych perspective will tell you NOT to tell others your dreams and goals. We here at LSE strictly REJECT this. In place make yourself strong enough that you can afford to be vulnerable and speak your dreams aloud. Will you ever run into “dream stealers”? Sure. There’s nay-sayers everywhere. But if your success depends on no one ever doubting your ability to achieve something… you need to focus on strengthening yourself first. More importantly: in the words of Goethe, “the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.” Speaking your goal aloud is the FIRST step.

      6) No direct advertising. Should go without saying. That being said… if you’re contributing to the community substantively whether by posting authentically about your own goals or helping support others with theirs… do feel free to include a “signature” on your posts – a *little* mention about your business, what opportunities you’re seeking or what product you’re selling. this will be a balance things and the moderators of the LSE forum will be ultimate arbiters of whether your participation and advertising balance each other. Do keep signatures to 3 sentences or less AND a lesser amount that the substantive portion of your post.

Introduce yourself and let us know how we can help!
