      What are YOUR resolutions for 2021!?

      And, in case you need some inspiration, I offer you – with poetic license, having changed the original inspiration for these – 10 resolutions that will make you a better human being in 2021:

      1. Open up. Don’t hold back. Get present. Speak up. Stop internalizing. Check in with yourself. Be bold. Be real. Say what’s on your mind.

      2. Stop worrying about who has more things, who’s going where, or who’s doing what. Facebook is the worst for this. Just focus on YOU fulfilling your OWN life.

      3. Clear the clutter: You likely have everything you *need*. You likely have more than you need. Get rid of everything that does not bring you joy. Belongings that take upkeep, clothes you don’t wear, clutter you’re saving because “it’s worth something” and you “might need it one day”, Emails you “should” read or respond to, people who are self-centered or simply bring nothing to your life. Declutter EVERYTHING.

      4. Stop wondering why so and so in some other social circle hasn’t accepted you or invited you to their activities. Address loneliness or a feeling of disconnection. Start your own circle of friends who inspire you are like-minded and who have an interest in you, will reciprocate and love you back.

      5. Stop running around like the world depended on you. Life will still go on if you miss a deadline, meeting, or activity. Relax, pamper yourself, and remember, you can’t take care of others if you don’t take care of yourself first.

      6. Pick something and go full out. Be adventurous. Play to win.

      7. Have courage. Make your move. Draw the line. Say “no!” Break unhealthy agreements. Listen to your inner voice. Leave bad relationships (partners, friends, jobs). Follow your heart.

      8. Test your perceived limitations. You think you can’t? Try it anyways. Remember that you are confined only by the walls that you’ve built around yourself. Get a sledgehammer and start swinging.

      9. Don’t talk, just act. Don’t promise. God forbid do NOT prove (there’s something REALLY wrong if you have to prove anything). Just DO.

      10. Take risks: If you win, you will be happy. If you lose, you will be wise.

      11. Read this slowly: LIFEISNOWHERE. What did you read? “Life is no where?” or “Life is now here?” Your outlook, friends, is all a matter of perspective. What’s yours? Chose positivity. Choose to believe that people are doing the best they can… even when it’s clear they’re not. Understand that ultimately things work out okay in the end. If things aren’t okay… it’s not the end.

      So, name something: a goal, a plan, a habit you’d like to break or build; a place whether in the world or your heart of life you’d like to reach.

      What’s YOUR resolution for 2021?

        Here’s my resolutions this year:

        1. Read one book a week; 52 books for the year
        2. 17+ days of 7.5 hours of sleep, bedtime =<2am in January
        3. Lose 30#
        4. Begin exercising 3x/wk or more
        5. =>2x last year’s income
