First time I’ve ever heard of “Monk Mode.”
According to one article, “Monk mode is a term that was made popular by the online self-improvement community. Monk mode is basically a time of increased discipline, focus, productivity, living with intent, and committing yourself to a goal.”
It’s been explained that a “Monk Mode” period can change your business and life!
How does it work?
Monk mode can be different to people but ultimately you set up 3-6 non-negotiable rules you insist you follow for a predetermined length of time, say 21 days, one month or 90 days.
Among other rules, people suggest doing a variety of between 3-5 activities each day, which could include:
- 10 min of meditation
- Limiting yourself to 1 hour of screen time per day on your phone
- At least 30 min of exercise per day (can be just a walk on rest days
- Follow you diet
- 1 hour of reading per day
Of course, everyone can set their own rules based on your goals for this period.
