I have been working in a corporate office for the past five years. While I have had good opportunities, good work, and compensation, a small voice inside me said, “This isn’t it.” This voice grew louder and louder as the days went by until one day, it shouted so loudly that I realized it was time for me to move on.
I decided to quit my job and start freelancing. I knew nothing about the work that I am doing now, but I was able to learn and grow. I studied, attended seminars, and took web training to make sure I could be a practical Virtual Assistant.
I have been lucky enough to land a job as a virtual assistant. I work long hours, but my hard work is paying off. My client is considered a VIP in our company and has significantly contributed to making this position possible.
I am writing to inspire everyone who stumbles across my blog that it’s okay to go out of your comfort zone. You’ll never know if better opportunities wait for you if you don’t try. Just take your time to learn everything you can about what you want and continue to impress yourself more each day.
