If you’ve read many of the articles here on LifeSuccessEngine.com you may recognize that I often hold myself up as an example of what NOT to do. Believe it or not, although I talk about myself as a backstop and easier target than holding up a mirror for readers, a great amount of what I post is meant to be about who you are – what fulfills you and the intersection with that and what the world needs.

Center point to nearly every question of how to succeed in life lay the question of how you develop a life doing what fulfills your soul. Even harder is the question of how to find your place in a world where 95% – nearly everyone except for your close friends and family – doesn’t really care about you or what fulfills you… they only want what they need.

The fact is, a great many people will not “get” you or don’t care what you’d like to share with the world.

You offering people your soul or your own gifts that you are proud of is often analogous to offering a priceless Monet painting to a homeless person: they don’t recognize the value. It’s not what they were looking for, it’s not what they need, it’s not what they want, they don’t know what to do with it and they don’t even like the style anyways.

Keep it firmly in mind: The value of you is NOT decided by whether or not any particular person “gets” you or values what you share with the world.

Your only job is to excel at who you are and what you share with the world, and then to ONLY look for people who value THAT. The people who didn’t need it or don’t recognize the quality, weren’t your market, anyways.

You can go your whole life trying to prove your worth to people who don’t value what you offer and actually wanted something else, feeling absolutely worthless by their reaction and rejection.

Or you can chose to focus ONLY on those who value what you are and what you offer.
